My name is Kira and this is my online portfolio. It features current and past art, both finished and unfinished. In terms of the kind of art I do, I primarily draw and paint. Many times, I will design flyers are cards for people or do other types of graphic design for my self. Art is a big part of me and it’s something that I enjoy very much.
I’m currently a student at MIT majoring in mechanical engineering with a concentration in industrial design and minoring in Architecture. I’m a Seventh-day Adventist Christian and I love to read and do art (obviously). I hate spiders, but I love nature in general. I do have other blogs, three in fact. They are Artist’s Block, which is a more informal portfolio; My Journey With God, which is a documentation of my thoughts on Ellen White’s books; and Between The Bookends, which has many reviews and thoughts on books I’ve read. For all of my graphic design work, I use the Adobe Design Suite. My favorite medium to use is paint, and I’ve been on a watercolor kick lately (Jean Haines is my inspiration for that).
